Extinct Marc Mattos
Award winning film, “Extinct”, is a stop-motion animated film short that depicts a future culture whereby feminism and socialism have completely undermined the God-ordained purpose of boyhood. Childhood is no longer a time of play and creativity in preparation for leadership, fatherhood, and manhood. All things masculine are considered archaic, useless, and held in disdain. Set in a museum of natural history in the future, a young boy finds himself caught between the mandates his culture designed and his hidden yearnings to be the boy that God designed. “Extinct” received the Jubilee Award for Best Production Design and runner up for Best Biblical Family at the 2007 SAICFF.
